CHELSEA RESNICK has worked as a gift books editor, a short story writer for an ESL education company, and a Hallmark greeting card editor. Her creative writing has appeared in anthologies from The Main Street Rag and Reading Harbor, and she was a previous finalist in The Lascaux Review’s annual Flash Fiction Competition.
She enjoys traveling, reading, catching live music, and asking too many questions. Originally from Kansas City, she’s moved across the US, from Seattle to Raleigh and spots in between. These days, she lives with her husband, kids, and cats in Austin, Texas where she runs a writing and editorial services business. After years of writing for social expression products and brand voice materials, she turned to fiction, an arena where she likes to craft suspenseful, even nerve-wracking, plots with strong emotional hooks.
Chelsea is a member of The Writers’ League of Texas and The Women’s Fiction Writers Association. She holds degrees in English and Religious Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
